About

From cuppas to conversation, we’re all about connection. Come for the tea, stay for the people, and leave with more warmth than you came in with.

A League of Extraordinary Personnel

The heart of any business is its staff, and Apothica Teas employs some of the most enthusiastic and helpful people in the area. In fact, most of them were customers before they became staff. Whether they're pouring your tea, baking in the kitchen, or doing dishes in the back we wouldn't be here without them!

Laura Hollister

Proprietor

Laura has lived in Niles nearly her entire life (blame her parents for those two lost years). Apothica Teas was her dream and she’s the driving force behind it. To Laura, the tea shop is a means of helping those in our community grow stronger together.

David Hollister

Lead Compendium Curator

Many a morning and afternoon David can be found slinging tea at Apothica. He enjoys blending teas and inclusions to create new and exciting offerings. And yes, he can actually play the harmonium but wishes all the keys worked.
