Paper Quilling can be dated back to ancient Egypt, where examples have been found in books made from papyrus with coiled designs on the covers. In Victorian times, ladies would make cards to give to each other. It is a fun craft with many uses, and we’re excited to share it with you!
Taught by local artist Rita Lovelace, in this class you will learn several designs using strips of paper coiled with a quilling tool. These will then be glued to each other and to a card.
All materials are included and each student will have a paper quilling kit to take home with them after the class.
